Omg, it was so hot in there, I was sweating like crazy, no air conditioning at all, and it was hard to breathe in there. The hot air was awful, but the food is super good. I order a Chicken Chavindeca for lunch and Chicken Enchiladas for dinner later. They were both so good. My pictures might not look good but they were so delicious. You have to try their Chavindecas and their Enchiladas, I have been ordering them for years at their food truck which is pretty much next door but they don't do the Enchiladas in the food truck, I don't think. I definitely recommend them, if you're doing take out call your oder in, if it's a hot day. Lol. My food somehow got a little mangled on my drive home so they might not look that good but they absolutely were. Oh yeah, their corn tortillas are handmade. The Chavindecas are like a Quesadilla but way better, they have meat, Mexican Cheese, handmade tortillas, lettuce, Queso Fresco fresh Cheese, Mexican sour cream, and sometimes tomatoes. She is always very nice and attentive to us when we are dining in. Jorge Reyes and Griselda Miranda, hailing from Nicaragua and Mexico respectively, shared a dream of opening a top-tier Latin American restaurant.
Their journey began with a small restaurant in 2006, which evolved into a taco truck before culminating in the successful launch of El Chino Taqueria y Mariscos in 2013. By combining traditional Mexican recipes with seafood specialties, they created a beloved dining experience that has expanded to three locations.
Their perseverance and culinary expertise transformed their distant dream into a thriving restaurant empire.
